The progressive greater use on a large scale of anti-hail nets in agriculture has resulted in the development of various installation methods specific to the different areas of use:
Anti-hail nets for fruit growing
Our nets are woven in high density virgin monofilament (HDPE) stabilized with the addition of additives so as to ensure the longest duration and the greatest possible resistance to various atmospheric agents, and in particular to ultraviolet (uv) rays. The processing is a two-wire English turn with edges and a central reinforcement band therefore the net does not undergo deformations consequent to rain, hail and therefore remains tight.
Anti-hail nets for vineyards
It is a type of independent hail cover in each single row of simple installation. It has a low cost and totally protects from hail and birds. The net is fixed to the highest wire with ClickG plates and made to go down to about 50 cm from the ground by wrapping the row on both sides. It can be fixed in the heads with rotating tubes and using special arms to facilitate opening operations. During the winter, the net is wound on itself in the upper wire and blocked with the NET-FIX. A net with a height varying from 1 – 1.20 – 1.30 – 1.50 – 1.75 m is used for this system, depending on the size and type of the vineyard.
Anti-hail nets for horticulture
These nets particularly suitable for the protection of crops on open ground from hail are the result of close collaboration with horticultural companies and cooperatives, which has allowed us to create a sufficiently light and robust product but with a particular mesh that guarantees the suitable rigidity and that does not hinder normal phytosanitary treatments. This type of net rests directly above the crops, for this reason it is also supplied in large widths from 10 to 20 meters.
