The FX-MULTIPLA transplanter is a machine equipped with a double rotary carousel (1 person = 2 lines) suitable for planting vegetables in plugs of different shapes (pyramid, cylinder, cone, …).
One of the most interesting features of this transplanter is the minimum row distance achievable: 21 cm (8″) which allows the user to plant high density vegetables like lettuce, onions, radicchio, broccoli, celery, fennel and many others. Every FX-MULTIPLA planting unit is equipped with two independent parallel linkages that float on the ground, in order to grant a perfect planting quality even when the ground conditions are very difficult. This transplanter can work both on flat ground and raised beds.

FX-MULTIPLA is equipped with a double-row carousel that splits the plants in two rows and that can be fed by one single operator. The machine yield is extremely high (up to 5,000 plants/hour/row). The transplanter carousel is turning in clockmotion (STOP&GO). This specific feature is extremely important to guarantee a constant drop of the plants from the top to the ground. The clockmotion allows to increase the performance per hour, the precision of the planting depth and the accuracy of the row distance. FX MULTIPLA is equipped with a self-cleaning kicker in the ploughshare. This device is extremely important to prevent the accumulation of the dirt in the ground opener. These features are essential to guarantee a more uniform crop that means quality and competitiveness. The FXMULTIPLA frame can be equipped with a 3 point hitch, a draw-bar assembly or a self-propelled unit. The self-propelled version can guarantee: easy manoeuvrability, reduction of dead times, no need for tractor driver.
