When a good transparency is required even in the UV band, it is available the TUV grade, limited to the D and E classes.
PATILUX TUV is successfully used to favour an environment suitable for the bumblebees and their effective activity, while allowing an optimum development of colour and fragrance of fruits and vegetables.
PATILUX finds its ideal application for crops that need intense natural light as a key factor, even in critical seasonal periods of lower solar radiation, allowing early harvesting and high quality of both flowers and horticultural products.
PATILUX films are supplied with anti-drip additives (AG) as standard; the additive migrating from the inside of the film reduces the surface tension of condensed water vapour, thus avoiding fogging and droplets. The effectiveness and the lasting of this action are influenced by the film slope, by the environment humidity and by the temperature, so the expected performance can be limited in relation to the greenhouse construction, or to the way of running it, and by the climatic conditions.
ADVANTAGES
UNRIVALLED LIGHT TRANSPARENCY particularly in the PAR (Photosynthetic Active Radiation, which is effective for the photosynthesis, i.e. 400-700 nm) necessary for the plants growth.
EXCELLENT THERMAL EFFECT that limits the drop-in temperature during the night or in poor sunlight conditions.
OUTSTANDING MECHANICAL PROPERTIES, of elasticity, tear resistance, tensile strength and resistance to perforation, even at low temperatures.
PRESERVATION of excellent transparency and mechanical properties during the film life span.
